Position Summary
Responsible for assisting the Sportsbook Manager in the day to day operations of the Sportsbook, provide excellent guest service, coach Team Members, and ensure compliance with all departmental policies and procedures
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitors and supervises Sportsbook staff for adherence to company policies, procedures, Title 31, minimum internal control standards, and applicable jurisdiction regulations and laws.
- Creates staff schedules, ensuring adherence to established labor levels and approved FTEs, maintains time and attendance records.
- Administers Team Member documentation and training as needed; notifies management of prevalent or escalated Team Member issues/concerns.
- Verifies cash drawers, completes reports, rates casino guest activity, and monitors sportsbook for suspicious activity.
- Closes out sportsbook ticket writers at the end of their shifts, and makes sure that all money has been accounted for and turned into the cage.
- Prepares and stocks all the daily odds sheets.
- Properly documents and enters Title 31 transactions.
- Responsible for the enrollment, financial transactions, and clerical tasks associated with a mobile device wagering application.
- Approves over the limit wagers for the property in absence of manager and approves low-limit comps as permitted by jurisdictional gaming regulations.
- Cash and sell Sportsbook wagers to guests as needed.
- Leads by example by demonstrating and executing Guest service standards with guests and Team Members.
- Explains wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests as needed.
- Ensures the protection of guest’s rewards and adherence to credit lines.
- Notifies management of escalated or prevalent guest issues/concerns and any apparent suspicious activity.
- Ensures compliance with currency transaction requirements, Title 31, and money laundering and Suspicious Activity Reporting for Casinos (SARC) requirements.
- Ensures a safe work environment through compliance with safety guidelines; identifies potential safety hazards and reports, maintains a professional department, company, and community reputation.
- Notifies leadership team of escalated or prevalent guest issues/concerns and any apparent suspicious activity.
- Performs other job-related duties as requested.

Education And Experience
Required
- High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
- Three (3) years’ Gaming experience.
- Two (2) year of supervisory experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred
- Sportsbook experience.
- Experience in a resort environment.
License/Certifications/Registrations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
- Will require a post-offer, pre-employment, and random drug screening.
