Location: Pala, CA

Responsible for the training documentation of each Team Member in the Guest Safety department.

A minimum of one-year experience casino security officer or California P.O.S.T approved academy.

• Ensures EMT certifications are current
• Works with Human Resources Training department to develop and facilitate specific classes for Guest Safety awareness
• Reports directly to the Director of Guest Safety and advises of ongoing training activities
• Coordinates training for the department’s briefings; new hire academy; new hire training in utilization of shift Lead Officers; and on-shift “Refresher Training” for each officer every six months
• Coordinate supplemental training, such as: CPR/AED by EMT instructors; basic first-aid; hazardous identification; bike and mobile patrol training; and any additional training available to the department
• Works a variety of schedules to meet the departments training needs
• Work in cooperation with Shift Managers to facilitate specific shift training needs
• Coordinate and give support to Lead Officers with hands-on shift training needs and conduct periodic audits on training files
• Designs and initiates exercises and drill scenarios on shifts
• Interview applicants and make recommendations for GSO hires; with Leads and above, makes recommendations to Director
• Inspects all GSOs’ appearance and reports violations to Shift Managers
• Promotes understanding and compliance with all policy and procedures for an effective operation
• Investigates all reports of laxity of performance of duty or violation of department rules of any subordinate, reporting all findings to the Manager
• Demonstrates problem-solving abilities.
