Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant supports the General Manager of Gaming Operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides advanced administrative support by overseeing the daily operations of the casino through professional, ethical business practices.
- Performs routine administrative responsibilities such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, meetings, conferences, travel, and organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment/supplies inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Resolves routine administrative issues and answers inquiries concerning patron disputes and departmental issues.
- Accepts, screens, and routes telephone calls as necessary.
- Acts as a liaison with other departments and Sandia Tribal Gaming Commission on basic administrative and/or operational matters.
- Reviews, and proofreads correspondence, reports, and internal controls for accuracy and syntax.
- Sorts, opens and distributes mail; sends and retrieves facsimiles.
- Maintains work schedules in Unifocus.
- Replies to E-Surveys submitted through Unifocus.
- Maintains timecard information in KRONOS.
- Attends various executive-level meetings and transcribes minutes.
- Uses the Internet to research information for assigned projects.
- Coordinates and manages special projects with vendors.
- Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.

Education And Experience
Required
- High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
- One (1) year experience in an increasingly responsible position in an office/clerical management position.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred
- Certification in Executive Secretarial Studies, Business Management or related field.
Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience.
License/Certifications/Registrations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required STGC Gaming License
- Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico driver’s license.

Balancing
