The Front Services Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of Valet and Bell operations ensuring that the guest experience is positive and memorable.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Projects a positive image
  • Greets all guests and team members
  • Schedules team members to ensure excellent level of service to the guests while maintaining and controlling labor costs; Understands and manages within budgetary guidelines
  • Authorizes PTO and administers payroll
  • Supervises team members including maintaining proper employee relations and recognition, evaluating performance and administering discipline when necessary
  • Recruits Front Service staff, screens applicants and conducts auditions for employment
  • Actively coaches, mentors and develops team members
  • Ensures AAA Four Diamond service standards are being met consistently
  • Provides AAA Four Diamond service levels necessary to meet and exceed guest expectations
  • Keeps staff informed of pertinent information
  • Liaises with other departments as operational issues arise
  • Supports front line staff in dealing with guest problems and concerns
  • Assists front line staff as necessary with parking and retrieving vehicles, delivering luggage, etc.
  • Ensures that claims are minimized by staff’s adherence to established procedures
  • Limits the number of accidents and injuries by actively promoting job safety
  • Assists in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment (OS&E)
  • Assists in the development and training of departmental policies and procedures
  • Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying)

  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
  • Associate’s Degree in Hotel, Business or Related field- required
    • OR Two (2) years’ Supervisory experience- required
    • OR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department– required
    • OR Two (2) years’ experience in the hiring position’s Department- required
  • Must successfully pass a timed math skills test- required
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills required (skills test will be administered) - required
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and other hotel related software
  • Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Willing to work odd and irregular hours including holidays, weekends, and nights (3rd shift)
  • Outgoing, friendly, helpful personality and positive attitude is required
  • Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
  • Be able to run when parking and retrieving vehicles
  • Must be able to endure outside elements/conditions – heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.
  • Any DUI conviction within the last three (3) years will disqualify any applicant
  • Ability to safely operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Able to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, etc.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
  • Must be in good physical condition and able to pass a physical fitness test
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position
