Job Overview

The Cage & Player Services Clerk provides superior customer service by efficiently gathering and processing customer credit data, answering customer questions, supporting the department management team, and organizing and maintaining departmental files/records.  Individuals need to maintain a consistently professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor when interacting with both customers and team members.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Process credit applications in compliance with Wind Creek’s standard operating procedures, Internal Controls, & IGB Regulations
  • Assist patrons with credit applications, phone inquiries, and tax documentation
  • Updates and processes credit data and gaming reports while maintaining the confidentiality of credit files
  • Provides credit information to inquiring casinos upon request
  • Maintains and files a variety of Player Services department financial correspondence and records
  • Provides administrative and or hands on support to Player Services department
  • Develop a working knowledge of any IGB rules, regulations and Internal Controls applicable to this position
  • Complete all paperwork in accordance with IGB and approved Wind Creek standards
  • Provides prompt, friendly and courteous service to all guests in a confidential manner
  • Maintains strict adherence to the department policies and procedures, and a strong knowledge of Title 31 requirements
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying)

  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
  • Proficient in math - a skills test will be administered and candidate must achieve at least 70% skills pass rate- required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external customers including vendors, outside technicians, WCI Management and WCI front line staff
  • Technical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of casino player services/credit operations, preferred
  • Must be able to deal effectively with diverse departments and have flexibility to work in an ever-changing environment
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
  • Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
  • Must be mature, possess the ability to maintain confidentiality, assume responsibility, work independently, and be self-motivated
  • Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License issued by the IGB as a requirement for this position
