Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Information Technology (IT) Services, the Enterprise Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of robust and scalable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and financial systems. This role will be instrumental in driving our digital transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of business processes, and optimizing financial operations. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in ERP platforms Infor Financial and Supply Management (InforFSM), a strong understanding of financial principles, systems integration, and proven implementation skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Develops and champions the long-term architectural vision for ERP and financial systems, aligning with business objectives and IT strategy.2.    Guides supporting team members on ERP best practices, architectural principles, and daily operations.3.    Designs and implements seamless integration between ERP systems and other enterprise applications (e.g., Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Human Capital Management (HCM), e-Commerce).4.    Understands key financial processes (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Reporting) and translates business requirements into technical solutions.5.    Collaborates effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.6.    Identifies and mitigates potential risks associated with ERP implementations and upgrades.7.    Monitors system performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements optimization strategies.8.    Maintains up-to-date knowledge of emerging ERP technologies, trends, and best practices.9.    Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

 EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field required.

  • Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT, preferably with a focus on ERP implementations and architecture is required.

  • Experience in ERP platforms (e.g., InforFSM, Systems Applications and Products (SAP), Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365) is required. Experience with other platforms is a plus.

  • Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.

  • Experience in the Casino and/or Gaming industry preferred.

  • Experience with cloud-based ERP deployments (e.g., Software as a Services (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)

  • In depth experience with ERP tools and financial systems.

  • Advanced experience with software development processes such as agile development methodology and tasks, roles involved in the process.

  • Must have the ability to analyze and document complex business processes and deliver functional requirements such as data flows, data mapping, etc.

  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting processes.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex system integrations.

  • The incumbent must have experience demonstrating the utmost discretion and confidentiality as they will have access to private information.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS

  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) vendor-specific certifications) are a plus.

  • ☐ Authorized Driver: Role requires operation or driving of Tribe-owned vehicles or driving patron vehicles. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the insurance carrier is required.
  • ☒ Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.
  • ☐ No Driving Responsibilities: Role does not require a driver’s license or insurance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS – ENVIRONMENT

  • Primary work environment is in a climate-controlled office setting.

  • Work requires travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences.

  • Incumbents may be required to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

  • Strength sufficient to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally.

  • Sedentary work: involves sitting most of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other

  • office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

  • Physical activities that apply to the essential functions of the position are balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

  • Hearing sufficient to hear conversational levels in person, via videoconference and over the telephone.

  • Speech sufficient to make oneself heard and understood in person, in front of groups, in meetings,

  • via videoconference and over the telephone.

  • Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading and visual inspection of employees, visitors or facility.

  • Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties.

  • Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.

  • The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including secondhand smoke.
