Under the direction of the Supervisor Beverage, the Beverage Utility Clerk maintains beverage self-serve stations, beverage cart fill stations, portable bar equipment, and bar storage areas. These areas are monitored and maintained to consistently be clean and orderly for the purpose of efficient Food and Beverage service operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Services, stocks, and maintains the cleanliness of beverage self-serve stations, ensuring they are always well-organized and presentable. Fills beverage carts with coffee, sodas, juices, and other necessary condiments and supplies, making sure they are fully stocked and ready for use. Performs the setup, servicing, and breakdown of special functions, ensuring all beverage-related needs are met.2. Maintains cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of portable bars and bar storage areas following proper procedures. Cleans bar light fixtures, ceiling tiles, and air vents as directed. Cleans inside of walk-ins to include floors, walls, ceilings, doors, and racks. Cleans out garbage cans using approved methods.3. Escorts beverage vendors through authorized Back of House areas.4. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED required.• Minimum three (3) months of related experience and/or training preferred.• Must be at minimum 21 years of age.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in the English language.• Must be able to perform simple mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).• Must be able to provide friendly and efficient service to guests and team members, addressing their needs and resolving issues.• Must be able to have clear and effective communication with guests and team members.• Must be able to work under pressure by staying calm and efficient during busy period(s).
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS
• At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.• Must obtain and maintain a current Food Handler’s Card.• Must obtain and maintain Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification upon employment.• Select One of the Following for Driving Responsibilities: o No Driving Responsibilities: Role does not require a driver’s license or insurance.
