Major Duties and Responsibilities

PROMOTIONS

  1. Assists with the organization’s marketing, advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic and direct mail outlets.

  2. Assists with the direction and works with marketing manager on copywriting, design, layout, production of direct mail materials.

  3. Supervises and monitors the conduct of promotional drawings, activities.

  4. Develops and maintains a team work environment.

  5. Monitors staff performance to ensure guest service standards are achieved.

  6. Assists with corporate communications programs designed to provide Team Members with information to keep them well-informed about current promotions and events, and to promote interest in the company and assist in maintaining high levels of morale.

ENTERTAINMENT

  1. Responsible for assisting in the booking of entertainment in a 4,400 seat amphitheater, casino lounge, and a 1,000 seat bingo hall, ballrooms.

  2. Responsible for coordination of production elements of entertainment to include but not limited to technical aspects, sound and lighting.

  3. Monitors entertainment for profitability.

  4. Distributes materials and manages entertainment meetings.

  5. Reviews print ad layout designs for accuracy.

  6. Provides feedback on radio/television ad production.

  7. Receives and follows through on communication as directed.

  8. Coordinates and schedules security, ushers, concession booths, etc.

  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field and three (3) years’ experience in marketing/entertainment/public relations field.  Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling seven (7) years may substitute for the required education and experience. 

Preferred:

  1. Gaming and Resort experience.
