Position Summary
Assists in the coordination of hotel food services, meeting facilities, and catering for assigned groups after they are booked. Assists in the marketing of conference services, blocking meeting facilities, coordinating catering arrangements, and supervising staff.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for assigned group meeting guests, ensuring they receive friendly, courteous and timely service.
- Coordinates meeting conferences utilizing resort facilities.
- Blocks the conference facilities and the scheduled rooms for conference programs.
- Communicates customer/conference needs and objectives to operation departments using Banquet Event Orders and Group Resumes.
- Coordinates scheduling of facilities and banquet services with conference officials and facilities managers.
- In the absence of the Catering Services Manager, manages the progress of the conference daily checks with conference organizer and assures guest any problem is resolved immediately.
- Participates in the development of operating goals and objectives; recommends,
- Implements, and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations.
- Provides Food and Beverage Manager timely convention customer feedback from post convention reports.
- Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.

- A quality guest service experience is an essential component for all Team members working at the Pueblo of Sandia particularly those positions assigned to work in all public areas.

Education And Experience
Required
- High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
- A Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Hospitality Management or related field and two (2) years’ experience in a 3 or 4 star hotel.
Note: Any combination of education from an accredited college or universityin a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
License/Certifications/Registrations
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.
- Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
- Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
